Ambra Chessa is a medical resident specializing in psychiatry and public health at the University Hospital of Geneva, Switzerland. She earned her M.D. from the University of Florence, Italy, and is currently completing her Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Policy and Management at Columbia University, where she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship. Additionally, she holds a diploma in emergency and humanitarian interventions from the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) in Milan. Ambra has experience working at the European Delegation of the United Nations in the Sustainable Development unit and has gained extensive work, study, and volunteer experience across various countries, using four different languages. She is currently involved in coordinating the development of the international Spanish version of the FL-11, aimed at usage across Latin America, Spain, and other Spanish-speaking countries. Deeply passionate about public mental health, Ambra published a paper in 2023 as the lead author on the diagnostic innovations of ICD-11 for brain and mental health for the French community. She aspires to become an expert in public mental health while continuing to develop her clinical expertise in neuroscience.
