Fourth Annual Comedy Benefit for the Columbia-World Health Organization Center for Global Mental Health

Nothing beats doing something fun for a cause. Mental health and substance use issues affect someone in every family; someone you know, someone you love, and someone you care about. Join us for a fabulous evening of comedy that puts mental health front and center, for those joining us at Gotham Comedy Club and for communities around the globe.
Net proceeds of the event will directly support the initiatives of the Columbia-World Health Organization Center for Global Mental Health to advance research, build capacity in low-resource settings, and offer research and mentorship opportunities for scholars to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
Headliner: Rosebud Baker
We are delighted to welcome the outstanding Rosebud Baker as our headliner for the evening! Known for her biting wit and unapologetic style, Rosebud’s comedy takes audiences on a ride that’s as brutally hilarious as it is refreshingly real. Rosebud is an Emmy- and Writers Guild of America-Award winning writer for her work on Saturday Night Live and Inside Amy Schumer. She has also written for HBO’s That Damn Michael Che, and Comedy Central’s Roast of Alec Baldwin. Rosebud’s first comedy special, Whiskey Fists, was praised for its raw honesty, sharp punchlines, and unflinching humor about life’s messiest moments. New York Magazine’s Vulture.com named her second comedy special, The Mother Lode on Netflix, one of the best comedy specials of 2025. Known for her fearless, darkly funny perspective, Rosebud has been featured on Netflix’s That’s My Time with David Letterman, Comedy Central Presents, and This Week at the Comedy Cellar. Her acting work can be seen in Life & Beth on Hulu, and on the big screen in the comedy-horror feature, Hell of A Summer.

We are thrilled to announce that the incredibly talented Ashley Austin Morris has agreed to host WHO Stands Up for Mental Health for the third consecutive year! Ashley is an actor, comedian, and writer. She recently starred as Roxanne Hertz in FX’s Fleishman Is In Trouble and played Nicole in Shonda Rhimes’ Inventing Anna. Tickets:
- We are offering the option to sponsor tickets—available through the ticket sales page—for community-based mental health workers, global mental health students, or individuals with lived experience who would otherwise not be able to attend the event.
Tickets include the stand-up comedy performance, top-shelf open bar, and appetizer reception.
