Zhezheng Jin

Zhezheng Jin, a 2024-graduated alumni from Columbia Mailman School of Public Health with a Master of Public Health Degree in epidemiology. He participated in the Columbia-WHO Center for Global Mental Health Practicum as a Data Analyst at the Shanghai Mental Health Center from May to August 2023. During this period, Zhezheng made significant contributions to mental health research, focusing on predictive analytics and data visualization. By integrating Multivariable Generalized Linear Models (GLM), he achieved an high accuracy in predicting depression incidence among college students. His expertise in data cleaning and manipulation, using RStudio and SAS, ensured high-quality datasets for analysis. Furthermore, Zhezheng designed and generated insightful data visualization for presentation use.

Since completing the program, he continues to leverage his data analysis skills in the field of public health, aiming to address real-world healthcare challenges through advanced data science techniques. Zhezheng’s career aspirations include making significant contributions to clinical research and public health initiatives, using his expertise to improve healthcare outcomes and decision-making processes.
