Ther Largo (she/her) is a second-year MA student in Clinical Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University, specializing in Global Mental Health and Trauma. During the Global Practica, Ther focused on assisting with coordinating the countries involved in the Flexible Interview for ICD-11 (FLII-11) implementation group as they integrate the FLII-11 in national mental health surveys. She is also engaged in writing and reporting on global training initiatives for the ICD-11 Chapters on Mental, Behavioral, and Neurodevelopmental Disorders, led by the Columbia – World Health Organization (WHO) Center for Global Mental Health. As a young researcher from the Philippines, she is passionate about Global Mental Health and enhancing mental healthcare access and capacity in low and middle-income countries. Additionally, her background in Clinical Psychology and Indigenous Filipino Psychology drives her interest in understanding psychopathology across cultures and developing culturally sensitive assessments for mental disorders, such as the FLII-11.
