Jessica Francois (she/her/hers) – is a second-year student at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in the Sociomedical Sciences Department with a certificate in Global Health. Jessica’s work during the Global Practica is focused on assisting Dr. Reed and Dr. Robles in Mexico City, at the National Institute of Psychiatry Ramón de la Fuente Muñiz, with analyzing qualitative data regarding the mental, physical, and social development of transgender individuals. Jessica also simultaneously assists Dr. Rodriguez at the Condesa Specialized Clinic with research regarding the effects of antiretroviral treatment.
