About the Event

In an unforgettable evening of unity and purpose, the Columbia-WHO Center for Global Mental Health hosted a comedy fundraiser at Gotham Comedy Club to champion mental health research and access around the world. This special event combined the joy of laughter with the mission of working to reduce the burden of mental disorders, diminish stigma, and expand access to evidence-based treatment.

The evening featured an outstanding lineup of New York City’s most talented comedians, including Ashley Austin Morris, Juan Nicolón, Casey Balsham, Charles McBee, Oscar Aydin, and Mike Vecchione. Leading the evening as Master of Ceremonies was Kyrus Keenan Westcott (The Vibe With Ky), a renowned mental health influencer whose passion for mental health advocacy enriched the event’s mission and spirit.

Our sincerest gratitude extends to our Global Champion and Global Ambassador sponsors, as well as the International Advisory Board, whose invaluable support and commitment were instrumental to the event’s success.

We also extend our appreciation to every guest who attended and contributed to advancing our shared vision. Together, we are working to improve the identification, assessment, and treatment of mental, neurological, and substance use disorders worldwide.
